This matter comes before the Iowa Public Information Board (IPIB) this 15th day of July, 2021, to consider a Motion to Continue.
The IPIB approved an informal resolution between the parties on May 20, 2021. Pursuant to the terms of the informal resolution, the parties had 60 days to complete the resolution, or until July 19, 2021.
One of the terms of the resolution was for the city clerk to attend approved clerk training that incorporates open meetings and public records laws. This training is scheduled for October 6 to 8, 2021, through the 2021 Municipal Professionals Institute (MPI).
Therefore, extending the completion date to October 11, 2021, is appropriate.
IT IS SO ORDERED that the terms of the Informal Resolution shall be completed by October 11, 2021.
