                              Final Report

COMES NOW, Margaret E. Johnson, Executive Director for the Iowa Public Information Board (IPIB), and requests that the IPIB dismiss this complaint based upon successful completion of the informal resolution.


Jason Clayworth filed formal complaint 17FC:0060 on August 23, 2017, alleging that the Department of Human Services (DHS) violated Iowa Code chapter 22 by failing to release certain records in a timely manner.

The IPIB accepted the complaint on January 18, 2018.  Pursuant to Iowa Code 23.9, the parties negotiated and reached an informal resolution, which was approved by the IPIB on February 15, 2018.


The terms of the Informal Resolution are completed according to the written report of each party.  Pursuant to the terms of the informal resolution, this complaint is to be dismissed upon successful completion.

THEREFORE, it is recommended that the IPIB dismiss this complaint as successfully completed.
